Getting Ready to rumble

I'm preparing to go to Greektown (my friend Susan called it Geektown) Monday with my father-in-law. My wife said I should go as a real tourist so she bought me a loud flower print shirt and shorts. Then she bought me a hat that lets everyone know that I've never been out of LaGrange. To top it off we got some sunglasses to give me the poker look.
I took the wife out to dinner at The Hungry Heifer and during dinner I told my daughter about all of the poker greats and how they have nicknames. There is Men "The Master" Nguyen, Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, and of course Amarillo Slim. She told me I needed one so she came up with LaGrange Chubby. My wife then chimed in stating that I'd never be a card shark, more like a card carp. So that is the name I'm stuck with, Card Carp.
It's a great deal taking the bus to Greektown. It cost $25 a person but you get $25 in chips and a free lunch. Plus I've purchased Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I figure I should be able to just finish it on the six hour bus ride. Just in case I have David Sedaris' new book, Naked.
If this goes well I hope to do this once a month or so. I'm excited and I hope my father-in-law is excited too.
